Backyard Homesteading

As we realize the importance of secure food supply (2020 and the rows and rows of bare shelves in our grocery stores really brought this home for a lot of people!) more and more of us are turning to “backyard homesteading” The idea that you don’t have to have a lot of land to make strides in self-sufficiency isn’t a new one, by any means. But now, I think, there is a growing interest in growing more of our own food no matter the space that we have.

My friend, Lisa, from The Self-Sufficient Home Acre, has written a guide that will help anyone who is aspiring to greater self-sufficiency whether you are in the planning and dreaming stage, or actually have a good start and want to expand your abilities!

The Beginner’s Guide To Backyard Homesteading

The Beginner’s Guide To Backyard Homesteading is the first place to turn when starting to plan your homestead, or a plan to produce more of your own food.

I love a book that is full of useful info and how-tos, but what I hate is searching through all that text looking for the specific information when I’m needing it to get started on an actual project. Grrrr…
